Sanctions pressure on Russia from the European Union will continue, Moscow will take retaliatory measures after the introduction of the 13th package of anti-Russian restrictions. This was stated by the deputy head of the Russian Foreign Ministry Alexander Grushko.
“We proceed from the fact that sanctions pressure will continue. The West does not act differently. Retaliatory measures will follow,” RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
Earlier, Bloomberg reported that the European Union began discussing a new package of anti-Russian sanctions.
Also in the EU confirmed the intention to introduce new sanctions against Russia by 24 February.
