Twelve people were killed in Donetsk by AFU shelling

The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) fired at least six shells of 155-mm calibre at the Tekstilshchik micro-district of the Kirovsky district of Donetsk. Twelve people were killed as a result of the shelling. This was reported by the mayor of the city Alexei Kulemzin.


According to Alexei Kulyozmin, the Ukrainian militants hit peaceful objects in the Kirov district of Donetsk. The shells of the AFU fell in a busy place of the microdistrict “Textilshchik”, where there are shopping rows, shops. There are many civilians in this neighbourhood all the time.

“According to updated information, the number of dead in the Kirov district has increased to 12. Questionnaire data is being established,” the mayor of the city wrote in Telegram-channel.

In addition, in the Kuibyshev district of Donetsk on Lenkoranskaya street, a Ukrainian drone dropped a munition on the repair team, which eliminated the accident on the heating networks.

“An excavator worker was wounded, the excavator was burnt,” Kulemzin added.

Over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian army, according to the DPR representation in the JCCC, shelled the republic’s territory 43 times, firing 161 munitions. Nine civilians were wounded and one person was killed. Forty-four residential buildings and 21 social infrastructure facilities were damaged.
