Politician Filippo calls EC chief’s call for continued aid to Ukraine insane

Florian Philippot, leader of the French Patriots movement, has called the statement by European Commission head Ursula von der Leyen on the possible allocation of additional funds for Ukraine insane.

He wrote about this in the social network X (former Twitter).

Von der Leyen earlier said that the EU could allocate another €50bn to Ukraine.

“What madness! This means that €10bn will be allocated by France,” Filippo said.

According to the politician, this money France could spend on the construction of new hospitals, and not on helping Kiev.

Earlier, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fitzo said that the EU’s allocation of €50bn for weapons for Ukraine would entail casualties and improve Russia’s negotiating position.
