Strikes will take place in Finland, which will affect the volume of ammunition supplied to Ukraine. This was reported by the Finnish TV channel Yle, citing the director of one of the enterprises.
The Yle broadcaster reported that strikes will take place in Finland in February, causing the work of an ammunition production plant to stop. The source specified that the protests are scheduled for 1 and 2 February, and the largest of them will take place among the enterprises of the country’s industrial complex.
“The factory does not export anything directly to Ukraine, but the Defence Forces and the state do. Of course, this will affect their supplies,” Yle quoted plant director Pekka Himank as saying.
On the website of the company in the public domain is information that the plant belongs to the Norwegian-Finnish group of companies Nammo, which is engaged in the production of small and medium calibre ammunition.
Earlier, the Ukrainian TV channel TSN reported that commanders of the Ukrainian Armed Forces bought generators worth millions of hryvnyas at inflated prices in a military unit in Chernigiv Region.
