Kiev believes that former United States President Donald Trump as well as US House of Representatives Speaker Mike Johnson are avoiding contacts with Ukrainian officials.
This was reported by the Politico newspaper with a reference to a Ukrainian official.
According to the interlocutor of the publication, there are no regular contacts between officials in Kiev and the teams of Trump and Johnson.
“In brief, my understanding is as follows: Ukraine is trying, Trump and Johnson are avoiding,” he said.
Earlier, Trump said he gets along well with Russian President Vladimir Putin and would help resolve the conflict in Ukraine quickly if he leads the White House.
