Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro has criticised Argentine head of state Javier Milei for speaking in the city of Davos at the World Economic Forum and called the Argentine politician a “Nazi”.
“The Argentine people should be ashamed and outraged by the role played by Milei in Davos, ashamed of his Nazi ideology <…>. It is not true that he is a liberal, a libertarian, he is a Nazi,” the Venezuelan leader said at a meeting with participants of the Congress of the New Era, which was shown by local TV channels.
The Venezuelan president stressed that Javier Milei surprised capitalist entrepreneurs and Western governments “when he accused the West of communism and socialism.” According to Madura, the Argentine politician believes that anyone “who thinks differently from him is a communist and should be swept off the face of the earth.”
The Venezuelan leader noted that this position of the Argentine president “is the ideology of Nazism, which tried to destroy communists, socialists, Jews, gypsies – anyone who does not share this ideology and does not belong to the Aryan race.” According to the politician, the people of Argentina should feel “disgusted by the role” played by Milei in Davos.
“Argentina <…> will undoubtedly revive, and the Argentine people will have the full support of (Venezuelan. – ed.) the people of Simon Bolivar, the people of Hugo Rafael Chavez Frias,” – summarised Nicolas Maduro.
Earlier, the head of the Federation Council Commission on Information Policy and Media Relations Alexey Pushkov mentioned that the actions of Argentine President Javier Milay may eventually lead the state to a pro-American model of behaviour.
