The leader of the Democratic majority faction in the US Senate, Chuck Schumer, has said that if Washington fails to provide Ukraine with the next financial allocation, the situation in the conflict for Kiev and the Collective West may worsen and become “irreversible”.
Chuck Schumer has commented on the discussions in the Senate of initiatives on the possibility of Washington providing Kiev with extraordinary financial allocations. The leader of the Democratic Party in the upper house of the US Congress said: “The goal here is to, frankly, make it clear that the situation in Ukraine is changing for the worse”.
“And, if we don’t give them (the current Ukrainian authorities. – ed.) help quickly, things could change dramatically and become irreversible,” Chuck Schumer told reporters.
At the same time, the parliamentarian said that representatives of the two parties in the upper house of the US Congress were close to reaching an agreement on the issue of allocating new financial allocations, which, among other things, are envisaged for prolonging the extensive monetary aid to Ukraine.
We shall remind you that earlier, the speaker of the US House of Representatives, Mike Johnson, mentioned that if the rumours are true, the bill that the Senate is going to submit, combining aid to Ukraine and migration reform, has no chance to exist.
