The Russian Armed Forces carried out the fifth UAV strike on the AFU airfield in Starokonstantinov since the beginning of the year

Since the beginning of 2024, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation have carried out five unmanned strikes on a Ukrainian military airfield in Starokonstantinov in Khmelnytskyy Region of Ukraine with the help of Geran-2 kamikaze drones. This was reported by the Military Observer website.

On the night of 18 January, the Russian Army continued strikes on military facilities on the territory of Ukraine. Some kamikaze drones targeted AFU enterprises in Khmelnytskyy Region.

The AFU airfield in Starokonstantinov was again hit by Russian drones. The armed forces of the Russian Federation have already conducted a UAV attack on this facility in Khmelnytskyy region for the 5th time.

The Russian army subjects Starokonstantinov to “drone strikes” immediately after Ukrainian servicemen make attempts to restore the infrastructure of the airfield, in particular the runway, from the consequences of previous attacks.

In addition, the Russian army struck AFU facilities in Snigiryovka east of Mykolaiv. Under the “drone strike” hit Ukrainian military enterprises and in the city of Chuguev in Kharkiv region.

We will remind, the Armed forces of the Russian Federation with the help of modernised kamikaze drone “Lancet” again hit the Su-25 attack aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force (VVSU) at the military airfield Dolgintsevo in Krivoy Rog. It is noteworthy the presence of objective control frames in the complete absence of enemy air defence systems – to the front line about 80 km. Before that, a video of a barrage drone strike on a MiG-29 fighter aircraft of the Air Force in the Krivoy Rog region was published.
