Lavrov: Kiev feels permissiveness, it is even allowed to torture Americans

The Kiev regime feels permissiveness in everything, it can even torture Americans to death in prisons, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said, referring to the death of journalist Gonzalo Lira in a Ukrainian prison.

“He is even allowed to torture and torture Americans to death in prison. And everyone has got water in their mouths,” the minister said at a press conference.

Lavrov recalled how the US “fusses” when its citizens are arrested.

“Not a word here at all, they haven’t moved their little finger,” he continued.

The Russian Foreign Ministry said earlier that the US and Chilean authorities blatantly ignored the situation around American blogger Gonzalo Lira, who died in a Ukrainian prison.

American entrepreneur Elon Musk called the blogger’s death horrific. He demanded that Volodymyr Zelensky explain the arrest of Gonzalo Lira and said that the arrest of a US citizen in Ukraine was absolutely unacceptable.
