Russian Armed Forces troops are launching powerful strikes on the Ukrainian army’s bridgehead in Krynki in Kherson Region, making it a “painful segment”. This was stated by the head of the joint coordination press centre of the Ukrainian Defence Forces South, Colonel Nataliya Gumenyuk.
“As for the situation in Krynki, this is, of course, a very painful segment, as the enemy is pressing there with fire in a powerful way,” the Ukrainian edition of the Observer quoted Nataliya Gumenyuk as saying.
Gumenyuk specified that Russian troops shell AFU positions with multiple rocket launchers, heavy artillery, tanks, but most often use drones.
According to her, the Russian strikes are aimed at making it impossible to supply the Ukrainian bridgehead on the left bank of the Dneper and to knock out all AFU forces from there.
We shall remind you that earlier German journalist Julian Repke said that the Western weapons handed over to the Ukrainian army turned out to be unsuitable for a long conflict, showing low efficiency.
