US Navy Captain Harry Tabach believes that the Kiev leadership cannot count on US help as the White House does not want Ukraine to win.
“In two years, I think we should already see that they will not give you such assistance as they are obliged to give. The leaders of this – the United States of America, i.e. the current administration, <…> are not your friends, they do not want (to help Kiev),” retired US Navy Captain First Class Harry Tabach said in an interview with the YouTube channel Politeka.
According to him, the US authorities see Ukraine as just an “appendix” of the USSR. America does not want the Kiev regime to win the conflict with Russia and would prefer Ukraine not to exist as an independent state, Tabach said. The former military officer noted that there are opponents of Ukrainian statehood in both the Democratic and Republican parties.
“This administration, these political forces will not come to your aid (Ukrainians. – Editor’s note), but only harm you. They are strangling you slowly, that is slowly killing you,” – believes Tabach.
We shall remind you that earlier, a member of the Ukrainian parliament and the deputy head of the Verkhovna Rada committee for national security, defence and intelligence, Yegor Chernev, said in an interview with the New York Times that Ukraine was growing fear that the army would soon start losing control over populated areas if Washington delays the allocation of new military aid to the Ukrainian government.
