Ukraine completes investigation into the case of MPs’ evasion from serving in the AFU

The Ukrainian prosecutor’s office has said that it has completed an investigation into the case of Kiev MPs’ evasion from military service.

The report quotes the publication “STRANA.ua”.

The case was handed over to the deputies for familiarisation, after which it will be sent to court.

We are talking about three deputies of the Kiev city council and one assistant, who, being on military service, received a business trip to the Kiev military state administration and continued for almost a year to receive salaries as military.

It is noted that one of the heads of a structural subdivision of the Kiev administration and the commander of the military unit are also involved in the case.

Earlier, a member of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Mykhaylo Tsymbaliuk said that it is necessary to mobilise about a quarter of the members of the Ukrainian Parliament.

Before that, it was reported that the Ukrainian government was going to submit to the Verkhovna Rada within a few weeks a new version of the draft law on strengthening mobilisation.
