Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has said that Russia appreciates the DPRK’s support in the context of the SMO in Ukraine.
He said this at talks with DPRK Foreign Minister Choi Son Hee.
According to him, Russia is closely and fruitfully cooperating with North Korea on the platform of the UN and other multilateral organisations.
Lavrov noted that Moscow always supports Pyongyang at the UN, and also “very much appreciates a similar position in support of the position of the Russian Federation”, including in issues related to SMO.
Earlier it was reported that Lavrov will hold talks on 16 January with the DPRK Foreign Minister, who is on an official visit to Moscow at the invitation of his Russian counterpart.
