Ukraine is preparing security treaties with a number of Western countries, including the USA, FRG and Italy. This was announced by Vladyslav Vlasiuk, advisor to the head of the office of Volodymyr Zelensky.
Kiev has signed a security agreement with the UK. According to Vlasiuk, similar documents aimed at providing security guarantees for Ukraine are planned to be signed with other countries.
“The same similar documents being developed with a number of other countries, starting with the United States, Germany, Italy, France, Canada, Poland,” TASS quoted him as saying.
Earlier, the Ukrayinska Pravda newspaper reported that British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and Volodymyr Zelensky disagreed on the wording of guarantees to Kiev in the security treaty.
