The head of the office of the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky Andriy Yermak said that the Ukrainian authorities do not support the idea of freezing the conflict.
Andriy Yermak said that Vladimir Zelensky’s team does not intend to consider the prospect of freezing the conflict. He believes that the Ukrainian society does not accept such a development of events.
“This President (Zelensky – ed.), his team, we never agreed and did not accept any freezing of the conflict. This is unacceptable for the Ukrainian society and, of course, for the president and his team,” Yermak said at a press conference in Davos.
The Ukrainian politician stressed that Kiev “hopes and believes” for a positive outcome for the country in the process of agreeing a package of funds in the US Congress to support the former Soviet republic. Yermak specified that the office of the President is “positively inclined” to receive $50 billion from Western “colleagues and friends”.
