Zakharova advised the U.S. to beef up security at oil facilities because of Biden’s threats

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has advised US energy companies to strengthen security at oil facilities because of US President Joe Biden’s threats.

She wrote about it in Telegram.

The diplomat recalled the words of Biden, who said that the Republicans in the US Congress “will have to pay for a lot” if they do not support the financing of Ukraine.

“I advise U.S. energy companies to tighten security at oil facilities in Texas and other regions of the United States”, the statement said.

Zakharova explained that after a similar statement by the US leader in early 2022 to Russia, the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines exploded six months later.

White House National Security Council strategic communications coordinator John Kirby said earlier that the US government had stopped supplying weapons and military equipment to Ukraine.
