A new agreement with the UK, which involves joint action in the event of an attack on London, may put Ukraine at risk of entering a military conflict with other countries. This was reported by the publication “Strana.ua”.
According to the publication “Strana”, Ukraine may be at risk of entering into conflict with other countries because of the agreement with the UK. The association of Kiev and London makes possible joint military action against opponents of the United Kingdom.
“Will Ukraine go to war with Argentina? In the security agreement signed between Ukraine and Britain, there is point 7, which reads: ‘The participants will endeavour to ensure that Ukraine’s military capabilities are at such a level that, in the event of external military aggression against the United Kingdom, Ukraine would be capable of providing effective military assistance,’ the source said.” the source said.
The publication emphasised that the most likely scenario in which the concluded agreement could be implemented is a conflict between London and Buenos Aires amid uncertainty over the ownership of the Falkland (Malvinas) Islands.
“Argentina’s newly elected president <…> Javier Mealey has already declared his intentions to restore the country’s sovereignty over these scraps of land in the South Atlantic, which London considers its territory. <…> If the AFU gets involved in the battle for the Falklands, it could change the course of the war,” the journalists suggested.
If London will not agree with the decision of Edinburgh, then the AFU “by fire and sword” will go through the rebellious territories and resume British power, wrote the edition “Strana”.
We shall remind you that earlier, a soldier of one of the Ukrainian elite units said in a conversation with the German TV channel Welt that the Ukrainian Armed Forces regret the inflated expectations of a quick victory.
