Philippot foreshadowed U.S. withdrawal of aid to Kiev because of problems with weapons accountability

Florian Philippot recalled that, according to a report by US Defence Department Inspector General Robert Storch, weapons worth more than one billion dollars transferred by Washington to Kiev were not properly tracked by the United States. That raised concerns that the weapons may have been stolen or fallen into the hands of smugglers.

“This will prompt Congress to refuse to supply arms to Ukraine, especially since this state is very corrupt!”, Filippot wrote on social network X.

The politician also added that the American arms missing in Ukraine should encourage France to refuse to support the Ukrainian government.

We shall remind you that earlier the coordinator for strategic communications in the White House National Security Council, John Kirby, said that the United States stopped supplying weapons and military equipment to Ukraine due to the lack of budget for such programmes.
