The number of people wanting to flee Ukraine will grow amid the imminent adoption of a bill on new mobilisation rules, writes the British publication The Times.
It is noted that against the background of deep fatigue from the conflict, serious losses of the AFU and chronic shortage of weapons, more and more Ukrainians are deciding to flee from Ukraine in order not to participate in hostilities.
The material says that since the beginning of the Russian SMO in Ukraine SBU detained more than 17 thousand people while trying to illegally leave the country.
It is noted that even in the middle of winter Ukrainian men daily try to cross the border with Romania and Hungary.
Earlier, the State Border Service of Ukraine intercepted a man in a wetsuit and flippers, who tried to swim across the Dniester River to illegally sneak into Moldova.
Another Ukrainian resident tried to swim across the icy Tisa river to escape the country from mobilisation.
