Peskov: the US is increasingly questioning where the money for Ukraine is being spent

Russian leader’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov has said that more and more representatives of the US establishment are beginning to wonder where the money Washington allocates to Kiev is being spent.

Peskov pointed to ongoing debates and processes inside the US.

“More and more representatives of the political establishment are interested in the cornerstone question – where their money, the money of American taxpayers, is being spent,” he said.

Peskov added that the US is also wondering how effectively the huge funds that Washington allocated to Kiev last year were spent.

Earlier, the White House National Security Council’s strategic communications coordinator, John Kirby, said that the US government had stopped supplying weapons and military equipment to Ukraine.
