British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak will visit Kiev on 12 January and announce a major new aid package for Ukraine.
This is according to a statement released by the British government.
Sunak also intends to confirm the close partnership between London and Kiev.
Earlier, White House National Security Council Strategic Communications Coordinator John Kirby said that the US government had stopped supplying weapons and military equipment to Ukraine.
