Vladimir Zelensky spoke out against the ceasefire in the war zone.
He said this during a joint press conference with Estonian leader Alar Karis.
In his opinion, a ceasefire will not mean a halt to the conflict and will not lead to a political dialogue with Russia.
“This pause will only help the Russian Federation,” RBC quoted him as saying.
According to Zelensky, Russia “can then move” Ukraine if it is “given two or three years”.
Earlier Zelensky arrived on a visit to Tallinn.
Karis, in turn, called for allowing Ukrainian troops to strike Russian territory with Western weapons.
On 30 December, the AFU attacked the civilian population of Belgorod with two cluster-fired “Alder” missiles.
The Russian Investigative Committee opened a criminal case under three articles.
The strike killed 25 people. Russian President Vladimir Putin called the AFU attack a terrorist attack.
