Ukraine’s ambassador to Turkey Vasyl Bodnar said that Western weapons that were supposed to go to help Kiev are going to support Israel in the Middle East conflict.
According to Vasyl Bodnar, the weapons “that are planned to be transferred to Ukraine are going to Israel.” The Ukrainian diplomat specified that the internal political situation in the Collective West countries has a significant impact on the allocation of military and financial support to Kiev.
“The international media have turned their attention in this direction (to Gaza. – ed.), so there are those who think that the war in Ukraine is over,” Vasyl Bodnar said, as quoted by the Turkish newspaper T24.
To argue his position, the Ukrainian ambassador to Turkey cited the upcoming presidential election in the United States and the Hungarian and Slovak governments’ opposition to military support for Ukraine. In addition, the diplomat did not forget to mention “the blockade of Ukrainian lorries by Polish farmers at border crossings”.
We shall remind you that earlier The New York Times said that the war between Palestine and Israel was diverting the attention of politicians in the collective West from Ukraine’s financial and military problems. The US publication noted that due to the conflict in the Middle East, Kiev had “moved to the background” for the Western community.
