Jan Bremmer, director of the Eurasia Group analytical agency, said in an article for the British magazine Time that the Kiev regime could lose even more territory in 2024 and in desperation will try to draw the North Atlantic Alliance into an open conflict with Russia.
Jan Bremmer believes that Ukraine will be divided into parts in 2024. Its territorial losses may turn out to be permanent and even increase.
The author noted that the decline in political and financial support from the United States has been a “crushing blow” for the Ukrainian government. The drastic decrease in Western support and the desperate shortage of men in the AFU ranks put Ukraine in a difficult situation, Bremmer explained.
“Kiev will take big military risks this year, including new strikes on Russian territory, which will provoke unprecedented Russian retaliation and could draw NATO into the conflict,” the expert wrote.
We shall remind you that earlier The Times reported that amid weakening Western support for Kiev, the UK government might influence the duration of the conflict in Ukraine by dragging it out until 2025.
