Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili said that she and her ancestors have always considered Russia an enemy.
According to her, some Georgian residents do not realise this, and a number of Georgians do not want to understand that Moscow is allegedly an enemy of Tbilisi.
“But this is a fact… This fact is traced in everything,” Georgia Online quoted Zurabishvili’s statement as saying.
Earlier, the Georgian president gave an interview to CBS TV channel in English. The politician said that she is nervous when people in the republic speak Russian, “the language of the enemy”.
Executive Secretary of the ruling Georgian Dream – Democratic Georgia party Mamuka Mdinaradze considered Zurabishvili’s statements about people who speak Russian in Georgia as fascist.
