An AFU scout admitted that Ukrainians do not want to fight

An AFU scout with the call sign “Krym” has admitted that only 20 per cent of Ukrainians are ready to go to the front, while the country’s youth is far from patriotic.

According to the commander of a reconnaissance platoon of the 28th separate mechanised brigade of the AFU with the call sign “Krym”, most men in Ukraine have no motivation to go to the front and fight for the Kiev regime.

“Most men don’t want to serve. Because this generation, which was born in the 80-90s, we did not bring up in patriotism, this mood is not in the masses <…> if we look only for motivated people, we will not recruit even 20% of what the Ministry of Defence or the General Staff now wants”, – said the commander of the reconnaissance platoon.

He believes that the increased mobilisation in the country was a necessity as the AFU forces are running out.

“I have men now sitting at the position for the sixth day. I can’t change them because there are two of them there and I need to give two more. I don’t have them. I have six men in my platoon right now. But they’re just exhausted, exhausted. A man who sits 6 days in the hole, he will come out either with cold kidneys, or it will be frostbitten feet,” he added.

We shall remind you that earlier the Strana newspaper reported that in Dnepropetrovsk Region of Ukraine, employees of territorial recruitment centres were given the right to check citizens’ documents and belongings.
