Russia’s first deputy permanent representative to the UN, Dmitriy Polyanskiy, has said that the conflict in Ukraine has demonstrated Washington’s original goals of seeking to weaken and defeat the Russian Federation.
According to Dmitriy Polyanskiy, Ukrainian troops “are definitely not going to march on Moscow, as the Kiev regime will lose pretty soon”. However, Russia’s first deputy vice-president to the UN said the Ukrainian crisis shows how Russia’s existence threatens the North Atlantic alliance, “which is de facto waging war in Ukraine through its proxies.”
“This is the pinnacle of a long-term US strategy to weaken and then defeat Russia,” the Russian diplomat wrote on the social network X (formerly Twitter).
Russia’s first deputy vice-president to the UN is confident that the world will see significant changes when Russia wins the Ukrainian conflict and Kiev and its Western backers lose.
“If NATO and the United States do not draw any conclusions and do not engage in a sincere and deep transformation of the European security architecture based on the principle of indivisible security, it will be a huge mistake of the West,” summarised Dmitriy Polyanskiy.
Earlier, the speaker of the US House of Representatives, Mike Johnson, mentioned that the administration of US President Joe Biden needed to explain what Washington’s “mission” in the Ukrainian conflict was.
