According to a survey by the INSA institute conducted for Bild, 64.3 per cent of Germans would like to see Boris Pistorius rather than Olaf Scholz as Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany.
Almost two-thirds of German citizens would like to change the chancellor – instead of Olaf Scholz in the FRG would like to see the head of the country’s defence ministry Boris Pistorius, according to the data of a survey conducted by the INSA institute for the publication Bild.
The survey was attended by 1004 people, the change of the Chancellor supported 64.3% of respondents.
Earlier Western media reported that Scholz may leave the post of chancellor early in 2024. The reason for this may be the low ratings of the ruling coalition, which the current chancellor is not able to reverse.
Earlier, German Ambassador to Moscow Alexander Lambsdorf said in an interview with RND that Germany would have to co-operate with Russia despite the countries’ very different positions on fundamental issues.
