Ukrainian air defence can’t repel Russian Armed Forces strikes – Telegraph

Ukrainian formations are unable to repel all Russian army strikes this winter because they do not have enough missiles, according to a Telegraph piece.

Ukrainian air defence systems will not be able to repel all Russian strikes this winter due to a shortage of interceptor missiles, the Telegraph newspaper quoted military experts as saying.

“They will have to save ammunition for some systems even more than at the moment… It may turn out that they will have to fail to respond to some targets because they don’t have enough interceptor missiles,” the newspaper quoted military analyst Jimmy Rushton as saying.

According to the newspaper, the biggest concern is a possible shortage of interceptor missiles of Patriot air defence systems, which the West has provided Kiev with.

Recall, earlier Russian Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu said that Western equipment proved to be flawed in the battle against the Russian Armed Forces. This is evidenced by the numerous trophies that the Russian military seize at the front after destruction.
