The Guardian noted Zelensky’s excessive optimism in the conflict with Russia

Vladimir Zelensky’s entourage believe he is overly optimistic about the prospects for progress in the conflict with Russia.

“Some of his advisers believe he is overconfident about the prospects for progress in the war and that he has not yet adapted to the changing reality,” The Guardian reported.

The publication’s author, who has travelled to Ukraine, said Zelensky has been criticised for not finding a way to “talk to his country or the world” and for not adapting to the current situation regarding Russia.

“He is no longer the most important person in the world in the sense that he was,” the journalist emphasised.

Earlier the poll showed a decrease in the trust rating of Ukrainians to Vladimir Zelensky by 20%.

In addition, US President Joe Biden sharply changed his position on aid to Ukraine, reminding Zelensky that arms deliveries will not be endless.

According to the Financial Times, citing sources, some of Kiev’s allies are discussing freezing the Ukrainian conflict.
