Russian Ambassador to the United States Antonov commented on the new aid package to Ukraine

Russian Ambassador to the United States Anatoly Antonov said that the United States continues to remain committed to its own concept of “fight to the last Ukrainian”, but with a reservation for “as much money as there is enough”.

According to Anatoly Antonov, the United States continues to remain supporters of its own idea “to fight to the last Ukrainian”, supporting Kiev. However, the Russian diplomat noted that due to the domestic political situation in the United States, the White House had to adjust its personal concept with the caveat of “as much money as there is enough”.

“Washington sends a bloody New Year’s present to Kiev. Once again demonstrates fidelity to the concept of war “to the last Ukrainian”. True, already with a small addition – “as much money as there is enough money”,” the diplomat specified.

The Russian ambassador to the USA emphasised that the White House realises the futility of defeating the Russian army on the battlefield. In the diplomat’s opinion, despite this, Washington is inciting the “puppet” regime to death, condemning thousands of ordinary Ukrainian citizens to certain death. The civil servant emphasised that with endless “aid packages, the US essentially confirms indifference to the fate of its underlings”.

“New arms deliveries are not able to change the situation “on the ground”. Not a single terrorist prank of the AFU using Western weapons will remain without a decisive response. All NATO equipment will be burnt and ammunition destroyed. It is time for the Americans to give up illusory projects to inflict a strategic defeat on Russia,” Antonov summarised.

Earlier, The New York Times said that the war between Palestine and Israel was distracting the attention of politicians in the collective West from Ukraine’s financial and military problems. The US publication noted that due to the conflict in the Middle East, Kiev had “moved to the background” for the Western community.
