The Ukrainian authorities are plotting a provocation using Western-made poisonous substances to accuse Russia of allegedly deliberately using chemical weapons. This was announced on 27 December by Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova.
During the weekly briefing, Zakharova noted that this topic was actively promoted several years ago. Then, according to Zakharova, the West was “actively warming up” the international community on anti-Russian positions in connection with the chemical dossier.
“According to available information, the SBU is actively involved in the preparation of such a provocation, which involved the Kiev-based Ukrainian company Realab,” Zakharova said during the briefing.
According to the foreign ministry spokeswoman, a batch of US-made components for the creation of chemical weapons, which can be used to carry out a limited-scale provocative action on the territory of Ukraine, was purchased through this company in Germany.
Earlier, the Defence Ministry said that the AFU had used chemical weapons to poison food products 17 times during the SMO.
