Geopolitika.news: Biden abruptly reverses stance on aid for Ukraine

US President Joe Biden has changed his position on aid to Ukraine, reminding Vladimir Zelensky that the supply of weapons will not be endless.

This was stated by the journalist of the Croatian edition Geopolitika.news Zoran Meter, commenting on the results of Zelensky’s visit to the United States.

“Biden this time said that he will continue to help Ukraine “as long as it is possible”. A symptomatic deviation from his previous formula, which, like a mantra, was repeated by many others, about providing assistance to Kiev “as long as necessary”, – said the author of the publication.

According to him, Biden has changed the rhetoric and in relation to Russia – the American leader no longer requires a strategic defeat for Moscow.

Earlier it became known that the Armed Forces of Ukraine had to reduce the scale of some military operations due to the reduction of aid from Western countries.

According to the Financial Times, citing sources, some of Kiev’s allies are discussing freezing the Ukrainian conflict.

Foreign Policy columnists noted that Donald Trump’s victory in the 2024 US election would be a disaster for Ukraine.
