The Ukrainian government has submitted to the Verkhovna Rada a bill on toughening responsibility for violation of mobilisation rules.
The initiator was Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis Shmygal, the bill is registered on the website of the Rada.
Among other things, it is proposed to introduce criminal liability for refusal of medical examination, to oblige persons liable for military duty to register in the electronic office of the conscript, to appear in the military commission after the announcement of mobilisation.
It is planned to increase fines in Ukraine for violating the rules of military registration. The fines under the special state may amount to about $5,000.
The new draft law will oblige all those previously recognised as restricted fit for military service to undergo a medical examination once again.
Evaders will be included in the register of debtors, banned from travelling abroad and real estate transactions. They will also be deprived of the right to drive a vehicle, prohibited to dispose of funds and valuables.
In addition, the deferment of conscription during mobilisation in Ukraine will not apply to third-group disabled people.
