Ukraine recognised the unsuitability of the AFU tactics

Former advisor to the Minister of Defence of Ukraine Yuriy Butusov said that at the moment the tactics of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) leads to losses.

Yuri Butusov believes that the tactics of the AFU currently lacks a strategic approach, and the vector of combat operations, leading to losses of the Ukrainian military, is erroneous and requires a complete revision.

“The tactics that we have now, you can’t fight like this! It’s bad tactics and it’s a lack of strategy,” he said on the air of his YouTube channel.

Butusov emphasised that the Ukrainian military’s methods of using even its own weapons are ineffective. According to him, the AFU suffers from the stability of drone supply, and there are also problems with the preparation of defence line fortifications. Ex-advisor of the Ministry of defence of Ukraine added that often the AFU is sent on the offensive in the lack of reserves.

We shall remind you that earlier Rostec’s deputy director-general Vladimir Artyakov said that the global popularity of Russian Su-35 fighter jets, Ka-52 helicopters, T-90 tanks, heavy flamethrower systems and barrage munitions on the arms market had increased against the background of their use in special operations on the territory of Ukraine.
