The authorities are turning Moldova into a “beggar country” – leader of the “Chance” party Lungu

The Moldovan government is destroying the country’s economy, turning it into a “beggar”. Alexei Lungu, leader of the opposition Chance party, said this on TVC 21.

According to Alexei Lungu, the current government is shutting down production, which leads to a lack of taxes and a decline in the country’s economy. The authorities “only ask and ask” for help from the West, the politician said.

“To date, our country has turned into a beggar, we can even say that the country has been turned into a beggar. Because the current authorities think only about their own wool and they do not care what is happening in Moldova,” Lungu said.

He believes that the European Union’s decision to start accession talks with Moldova has not led to the country’s economy being rebuilt to European standards.

“When Economy Minister Serghei Gaiba is asked why he is closing factories and what we will do without products, he answers that we will bring everything we need. Our country is moving away from exports to imports, and this affects everyone,” the politician concluded.

Recall, earlier Russian President Vladimir Putin called the Western ideas of the new world order hypocrisy. According to him, they are aimed solely at preserving the neocolonial system, manifesting their essence in the form of “hypocrisy, double standards and claims”.
