The cost of illegal exit from Ukraine has increased by 300 per cent compared to the prices in the summer of 2023. This became known from a video of a Ukrainian blogger circulating on the Internet.
In the published video, the blogger said that he was lucky to leave the country for free, after “three months of certificates and paperwork”. He noted that in the circle of his acquaintances there is a person who left the country illegally, having paid for the relevant service.
“I know a person who left Ukraine in the boot of a car for $4,000, it was in the summer. And now the person left for $12 thousand, that is, the price has gone up 300% in six months. Such is the business,” says the blogger in the video.
The Ukrainian refugee added that in the summer the service cost about $4 thousand, and now the removal of one person costs about $12 thousand. Thus, the cost of the service has increased by 300% in six months.
In March 2022 “Strana.ua” reported that a woman was going to take her husband from Ukraine to Hungary in an illegal way, in the boot. According to the publication, as a punishment, the woman was planned to be sentenced to up to five years, and her husband was urgently sent to military service.
