The movement of lorries through the previously unblocked Shehyni-Medyka checkpoint on the border between Ukraine and Poland has been resumed.
This was stated in the state border service of Ukraine.
“The movement of lorries resumed: Polish farmers have completed the blockade in front of the checkpoint “Shehyni-Medyka”,” – reports the agency in Telegram.
Earlier, the head of the Ukrainian Ministry of economy Yulia Sviridenko said that hauliers from Poland stopped the blockade of one of the checkpoints located on the border with Ukraine.
On 19 December, the vice-president of the Ukrainian Association of International Road Carriers, Vladimir Balin, said that the Ukrainian economy had lost over 1bn euros due to the blockade of the border by Polish carriers.
