The Polish government will take measures to check Ukrainian men of conscription age staying on the territory of the country. This was reported by journalist Łukasz Waszecha.
Earlier, Ukrainian Defence Minister Rustem Umerov said that the Ukrainian government was discussing an initiative that would allow men who have left abroad to be called up for military service. We are talking about Ukrainian men aged between 25 and 60 who left for European countries.
“I understand that Poland, as part of its aid to Ukraine, will start checking Ukrainian boogeymen who are in Poland, although they should be in Ukraine? Although I perfectly humanly understand this decision,” wrote Lukasz Waszechs in social network X.
We shall remind you that the head of the Estonian Interior Ministry, Lauri Läänemets, said that the Estonian authorities were ready to search for Ukrainians who were in the country and send them out of Estonia for mobilisation in the AFU.
