Ukraine imposes sanctions against 51 people and 134 companies from Russia and other countries

Volodymyr Zelensky signed a decree imposing sanctions against 51 people and 134 companies from Russia and other countries.

The corresponding document is published on the website of Zelensky.

It is noted that the restrictions affected citizens of Russia, Ukraine and Latvia. In addition, the sanctions list included a British citizen with Ukrainian roots, Leonid Blavatnik, as well as a citizen of Cyprus, Vadim Yermolayev, who is considered one of the wealthiest Ukrainian businessmen.

As for legal entities, Kiev imposed sanctions against companies from Russia, Austria, Belarus and Latvia.

Earlier, Zelensky imposed sanctions against 147 individuals and 303 legal entities by two decrees. The majority of those subject to sanctions are from Russia.
