Switzerland joins 12th package of anti-Russian sanctions

Swiss authorities have joined the sanctions of the European Union’s 12th package of anti-Russian sanctions, the Swiss government’s Federal Council has announced.

It is noted that the decision was taken by the Ministry of Economy, which expanded the sanctions against Russia.

Now the sanctions of Switzerland additionally included 86 enterprises and organisations, as well as 61 individuals.

Earlier it was reported that the EU approved the 12th package of anti-Russian sanctions. It came into force after publication in the official journal of the bloc.
