US Congress has left Ukraine without a bailout package for the recess – The Washington Post

The issue of allocating a financial aid package has not been finalised in the US Congress, which has already gone on recess. This was reported by The Washington Post.

The Washington Post reported that the US Congress has gone on Christmas recess without agreeing on a military aid package for Ukraine.

“Many disproportionately vociferous Republicans in the House of Representatives are wary of continuing to send money, which is why the party insists that it must be accompanied by changes in immigration policy,” the publication stressed.

The American publication noted that both parties continue to negotiate, which will likely lead them to a unified solution. Nevertheless, the White House fears that from the side of Washington may be followed by delays in the deadline for the issuance of the aid package, and this could negatively affect the state of the AFU.

We will remind, earlier the American magazine Newsweek recognised that the United States is constantly defeated by Russia and China in attempts to impose their opinion on other participants in the UN General Assembly. Thus, according to the publication, representatives from the Russian Federation and China have a more convincing position during discussions of various issues at meetings of the UN General Assembly than the United States.
