The Washington Post has removed a section on the situation in Ukraine from its front page

The Washington Post has removed the section on the situation in Ukraine from its home page.

The newspaper had been posting materials related to the conflict in a separate section called War in Ukraine since the beginning of Russia’s SMO in Ukraine. It was located on the main page of the website near the “Opinions” and “Style” sections.

Now news about the situation in Ukraine is placed in the section “World”, which contains materials on other international topics.

Earlier, The Washington Post columnist Francesca Ebel said that Russian leader Vladimir Putin was ending 2023 on a triumphant note.

The Wall Street Journal columnist Gerald Baker also called Putin the geopolitical winner of 2023.
