EU diplomatic chief Josep Borrel refused to answer a media question during the Sommet Grand Continent forum about a possible victory of the Russian army in Ukraine.
He also called the question wrong.
“The right question is what can we do to avoid a Russian victory, what are we prepared to do and are we prepared to do whatever it takes?” – RIA Novosti quoted Borrell as saying.
In addition, the diplomat acknowledged that Ukrainian troops have failed to break through the front. Now, in his opinion, Ukraine needs to be helped even more, as a Russian victory would allegedly create a danger for the EU.
Earlier, Borrell said that the EU would be “irrevocably spoilt” if Russia wins in Ukraine.
