Japan plans to provide additional $4.5bn aid to Ukraine

Japan intends to allocate a new aid package worth $4.5bn to Ukraine, Japanese Finance Ministry head Shun’ichi Suzuki has said.

It is specified that we are talking about additional assistance.

Earlier, Prime Minister Fumio Kishida announced that the Government of Japan will provide assistance to Ukraine in the amount of $4.5 billion.

Also, the Japanese Foreign Ministry said that Tokyo would extend anti-Russian sanctions by the end of the year.
