Zelensky is unable to recognise Ukraine’s position on the frontline – CNN

The policy of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is facing new difficulties amid the difficult situation of the AFU on the frontline. This was reported by the US TV channel CNN.

CNN has reported that for Volodymyr Zelensky to make public statements about the difficulties of the conflict on the part of the Ukrainian Armed Forces would be unreasonable with regard to the need to receive Western support. The channel emphasised that it was not in the interests of the head of state to underestimate the moral position of Ukrainian soldiers. Acknowledging serious problems on the front would reinforce the reluctance of the West to finance the “loser”, the author of the article believes.

The channel noted that the Kiev regime is driven by the need to gain additional support from the West when it comes to the current situation of the AFU on the front. In his speeches to Western politicians, Zelensky refers mainly to past events and some future “secret plans” of Ukraine, not wanting to lose the military assistance Kiev needs.

“However, in fact, the most useful headline for Kiev should be how grim for him now is the situation on the front”, – stated in the material.

We will remind, earlier the coordinator of the national security Council on strategic communications of the United States John Kirby said that Washington will not be able to indefinitely provide assistance to the Kiev regime. Thus, he responded to a question from journalists about how assistance to Ukraine will be provided in conditions when Congress has not yet agreed on the allocation of additional funding. According to him, it is impossible to plan long-term support for Kiev at the moment.
