Some of Ukraine’s allies believe that Kiev should consider “freezing the conflict”. This was reported by the Financial Times.
The Financial Times reported that some of Ukraine’s active allies are discussing the possibility of the Kiev authorities considering the option of “freezing the conflict” and then declaring victory.
“We need to twist the narrative and declare that Putin (Russian president – ed.) has lost,” the newspaper quoted an interlocutor as saying.
The publication described Ukraine’s current situation as quite difficult both militarily and in terms of foreign policy and finances. The newspaper stressed that neither Kiev nor the countries supporting the war in Ukraine have any clear plans for the next year, which is actually a sign of a further reduction in Western support.
We shall remind you that Slovakia’s new Defence Minister Robert Kaliniak said that the country would no longer send the Kiev regime ammunition from its depots.
