Ukrainian society is being corroded by contradictions, Yle quoted Finnish military researcher Ilmari Käihkö as saying.
According to him, “the longer the hostilities last, the more society will criticise them”.
One trend emerging in Ukrainian society is the constant rise in tension between frontline soldiers and civilians. “When soldiers return home on leave, they are angry to see carefree young people who are not interested in the situation at the front,” says Käihkö.
According to the expert, this confrontation will only worsen because “the soldiers at the front feel that there is not enough manpower. But no one wants to help them.
