CNN quoted a senior US military officer as saying that the Kiev regime without the help of Western allies will be able to hold out for a few months at most, and in a worsening scenario it will be defeated by the summer.
“Western intelligence agencies are currently considering how long Ukraine will be able to hold on without US and NATO assistance. A high-ranking US official believes that months, and in the worst-case scenario a significant retreat or even defeat by the summer is possible,” the material reads.
The TV channel noted that the West is well aware of the fact that the Kiev regime is absolutely helpless without NATO and the United States. Also, Western officials fear that delaying aid to Ukraine or its suspension by the United States will lead to European countries following suit.
“There is no guarantee of success with us, but without us they will definitely lose,” a senior US military official told the TV channel.
Recall, earlier Reuters sources reported that the EU initiative to allocate on military aid to the Kiev regime is encountering increasing resistance from the countries of the association. Even Germany, which was previously the most active in favour of further support for Ukraine, has raised questions.
