Sky News: Zelensky expects upcoming EU summit to be challenging

The summit of the EU member states, which will be held in Brussels on 13-15 December, will not be easy. This opinion was expressed during a trip to Norway by Vladimir Zelensky.

The topics of the upcoming summit will be new financial support for Kiev, as well as the possibility of moving Ukraine towards EU membership.

During the press conference, Zelensky said that the negotiations will not be easy. However, Kiev, according to him, fulfilled all the conditions set before it, Sky News reports.

As part of his trip to Norway, Zelensky is meeting with leaders of Scandinavian countries to discuss with them an increase in military and financial aid to Kiev. The channel notes that Zelensky calls air defence a priority area of assistance.

Earlier, French MEP Thierry Mariani said that the USA had dragged the EU into the conflict in Ukraine and was making money out of it.
